AHA`s Housing Recovery Resource Center is hosting a seminar on the Sandy Relief Home Access Program

The Sandy Relief Home Access Program is administered by the New Jersey Department of Human Services’ Division of Disability Services. It provides home accessibility to eligible applicants. The accessibility options include modular ramps (aluminium, steel, or wood) with stair glides or vertical platform lifts available in situations for which ramps are not deemed feasible. Funding is available for accessibility modifications for individuals with physical disabilities whose primary residence has been impacted by Sandy. Call to register at 732-982-5072.
AHA`s Housing Recovery Resource Center (HRRC) to Hold Rehabilitation, Reconstruction, Elevation and Mitigation (RREM) Program Workshop

This workshop will help homeowners in Monmouth County understand and navigate the state’s RREM Program. Find out how the HRRC, along with our partner organizations, can provide assistance throughout this process. ?The workshop will be presented by Sheri Kahn, formerly of the Department of Community Affairs. Sheri Kahn is very knowledgeable and has previously held RREM workshops in the Ocean County area with the Ocean County Long Term Recovery Group. Feedback from past attendees includes: "So glad I came here tonight, absolutely enlightening." "I learned more in two hours than I did in two years."
