Security Deposit Assistance Program
Security deposit assistance of up to $1,500 is available to help qualified families displaced by SuperStorm Sandy secure replacement housing.
Home Goods Replacement Assistance
AHA continues its efforts to help make your new or rehabilitated residence a “home” by providing limited assistance to help replace items lost in SuperStorm Sandy.
Manufactured Homes Rentals/Sales in our Pinetree Community
Seventeen permanent units in the Pinetree Manufactured Home Community in Eatontown have been dedicated to families displaced in SuperStorm Sandy for rent or purchase. Monthly rentals are $750 to $850; purchase price is $50,000, with $5,000 down-payment assistance available to each purchaser.
Volunteer Assistance Program
Monmouth County residents whose primary homes have sustained SuperStorm Sandy damages that may be repaired and restored to inhabitability by volunteer organizations are invited to contact us for a Volunteer Assistance Program application. AHA will forward the information appropriately.
Applicants must have been displaced as a result of SuperStorm Sandy, be registered with FEMA and complete an Intake Located Here. Required documentation must be submitted with all applications, and, when applicable, applicants must meet income criteria and demonstrate ability to afford housing.

Sandy Survivors are also invited to participate in our new HomeShare Program which helps match individuals in need of housing with those who have extra space in their homes and would benefit from rental income and/or services in lieu of rent.
